Penis size can be a distressing topic for men and many don't like to admit
their package is on the smaller side.
But a study, published by UK-based company They Fit, shows an increasing
number of lads are searching for smaller sized condoms.
Research shows millions of men struggle to fill out regular size condoms,
which can negatively impact their sex lives.
To ease embarrassment, the firm has launched the world's smallest condoms
Condoms come in all kinds of sizes with the regular size measuring around
7.1 inches.
Those on the smaller side can purchase condoms which start at just 3.1
inches, with a width of 2.6cm and a nominal width of 4.1cm.
The website features a series of graphics which highlight the similarities
between a regular condom and smaller ones previously sold to the public.
They Fit explained: "Traditional small condoms, including those labelled
'Close Fit', 'Snug' and 'Iron Grip' aren't actually that different in size
from regular condoms.
"In fact all of these supposedly small condoms are still at least 7 inches
long."
The website added: "Indeed millions of men every single day are searching
the internet for small condoms and a real solution to their problem.
"But it's not so much that you need a small condom - it's that traditional
condoms are much too big for most men."
According to They Fit, this is all to do with nominal width - a measurement
that is printed on every condom box in Europe.
"It measures the width of the condom at or near its open end when it is laid
(squished) flat," the site explained.
"And to get a great fitting condom, you have to choose the correct nominal
width for your requirements (your girth)."
They Fit also offer 65 other condom sizes.
One customer wrote: "I have never found a condom that truly fitted, until I
found They Fit. Thank you!"
Another added that they had "finally been able to enjoy safe sex because of
the smaller condoms".
