Seems it is her sister who did it. Both girls have Facebook accounts. I
thought that under 13's weren't allowed on Facebook?

You could easily be committing an offence by potenitally identifying the
minor who is suspected of the alleged murder.

Is that true if he is just relying upon relatively weak speculation
based upon widely available public knowledge? Little more than saying it
was probably someone who knew her.

If the imperative were to protect anonymity then the media should not
have published the suspect's age.

Absolutely true. You only have to look down Katies friends list
on the Facebook account (that she shouldn't have had) and see which
sister is 15. Maybe Facebook should act a bit more responsibly and close
the entire family accounts down.

There also has not yet been any order put in place
banning identifying the accused as usually happens
in these cases.

She has/had more than one sister, Racheal is not the accused so
I have not identified anyone.

How hard is it to look up which one is the accused especially as
everyone in York knows who it is?

Once again the law is making an ass of itself.

No good to anyone who doesn't have a facebook account as it is virtually a
blank page and any links clicked result in a login page
