The EU said the "divorce bill" (outstanding extant liabilities) was about 40 - 50 billion Euros. Apart from the Express long ago can you cite any reputable or recent source for your £100Bn figure?

It takes seconds to Google. MM doesn't give dates, and links mix pounds and
euros, but there were many reports of 100billion one or the other last year.

If it was in the Daily Express it was fake news. The Daily Express
makes a habit of publishing untrue stories. How many times has it
predicted hurricanes, for example? Yet the only actual "hurricane" to
hit the UK was back in 1987 and even there meteorologists dispute
whether it was a true hurricane and not merely a big storm.
